Use "PCP Technique" To Transform Your Children Into Fast Learners

Can every child learn fast?
Yes, all normal children can learn fast and become brilliant persons as every normal child is in possession of a perfect brain.
Your child is in possession of a perfect brain if it has learned to walk, talk and play. The skills of walking, talking and playing are so complex that only children with perfect brain can learn them. You know that children whose brain is not normal need special training to learn such skills.
The most important secret behind fast learning
Recall how your child learned to walk, talk and play.
His efforts to walk and talk were praised, applauded, kissed, stroked, encouraged and the child was demonstrated vividly how to do these activities in a better way. When the child faltered and fell or when the child uttered meaningless words, you did not criticize. Instead, you enjoyed those mistakes and laughed with your child. You too might have acted like your child!
In short, you made learning a playful activity with lots of love!
This is the biggest secret that can accelerate learning of your children and make them brilliant persons. Just use your creative thinking and make them love what they have to learn.
If you provide a loving atmosphere when your child is trying to read or write, your child will be able to master those skills faster and better.
However, except in a few cases, this doesn't happen. Both parents and teachers become impatient and start to criticize and even punish children when they make mistakes. This creates confusion, fear, hate and distaste in children towards learning.
Use PCP technique to bring out the genius in your child.
Children learn everything by trial and error. This includes doing lots of mistakes. Learning can be accelerated by ignoring mistakes and praising correct actions.
But some mistakes need to be criticized and corrected. This can be done by using a sandwich of PCP which means praise-criticism-praise.
Criticism brings better results if it is used after praising some good qualities. This means, you have to find something good in every mistake. Let me give an example of using PCP.
Your child has written the spelling of the word ENGLISH as ENGLESH.
Now instead of yelling at your child you can say, "Good, you have scored 9 out of 10, as you have written six letters out of seven correctly! (Praise.)
But if you had written 'I' instead of 'E' you could have scored 10 out of 10. Practice writing correct spelling 4-5 times, you will be able to write this word correctly in future." (Criticism.)
Now when your child writes the word 4-5 times correctly, praise again. "Very good, you have learnt the correct spelling."
However, what if in future your child writes the same word incorrectly? Use the same technique.
Say, "Last time you had written so well." (Praise.)
"But now again you scored only 9!" (Criticism.) Then gently ask your child to write that word again for 4-5 times and remember to praise after your child finishes the task.
You can also motivate your children to perform better by offering simple rewards after every small improvement. Aiming for small improvement is much better than imposing a big improvement goal on your children which may turn into a big failure.
You can solve other problems of your son or daughter by using similar strategies.
Think about this great quote...
"A child's education should begin at least one hundred years before he is born."
-- Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.
First parents need to develop good habits and demonstrate them before their children. Children don't do as they are told, they do what parents do. So start using PCP technique to motivate children to master good habits, learn useful skills and score better grades.
Praise more and criticize less or still better, ignore mistakes and praise whatever little improvement your child has achieved in every situation. Within short time you will see positive changes in your child's progress.
As a bonus, you will have loving relation with your children.
