Guys! Trust Your Women! kids and teens
I don't think that anyone would argue that our two greatest
challenges in the United States over the last century have been The
Great Depression and World War II. However, do we all equally know that
women have played a huge role in both?
Women endured The Great Depression side-by-side with their men and, in many cases, in place of their men. Sadly, many defeated men left their families to ride the trains of hopelessness, despair, and failure, on one-way trips to nowhere as the new hobo population of the 1930's. It was said that many of the men of that era couldn't stand to look into the desperate eyes of their children and wives and know that they were unable to help them. Sadly, many men figured that their families would be better off without them.
These forgotten and abandoned women proved to have a silent and steady strength. Our women not only survived The Great Depression, but eventually delivered us out of it! These heroic women paved the way for future women as they beat The Great Depression and then boldly moved out of those hot kitchens and into those really hot and dangerous war factories in the 1940's.
As our women watched their men board the trains again a decade later, thankfully this time they were trains of hope, democracy, and victory racing off to defend our country, In our men's absence, our women became the spark and push that led to the birth of America's great Arsenal of Democracy.
Our American women's miraculous and unprecedented feat in those factories is still called "The Production Miracle." This "Production Miracle" delivered us out of The Great Depression and put Hitler in a no-win situation. Hitler, who was one of the most powerful men in the world, underestimated our American women. He paid dearly for his arrogance. Men, don't make the same mistakes as Hitler.
The women of this country have proven themselves not only in the 1930's and 1940's, but have proven themselves time-and-time again. Guys, be smart and be wise. Work with them and not against them. Trust me. You won't be sorry.
Now teens and even tweens, go learn, lead, and lay the way to a better world for all of us. Trust your women enough to stand side-by-side with you in the foxholes of adversity and also on the stages of victory and valor. Together, you can't lose. It's a win-win! And once again, thanks in advance for all that you do, and all that you will do...
