Don't Be Afraid To Try New Things!
Kids and Teens
Don't be afraid to try new things! Trust me. It will be fun!
Besides, you never know where a different road can lead you. Go ahead.
Don't be afraid to go on a little journey that could possibly lead into a
BIG adventure.
Come on... You can do! Remember the good old days when everything was so new and so fresh? Remember when your heart would pound and you would squirm with the excitement of the unknown? Remember when adventures, journeys, and anything exotic, or anything foreign or new would excite you and make you feel alive? Come on... I know you are starting to remember what it was like!
Well, guess what? Those goosebump days don't have to be over...
And if you're one of those extremely cautious people by nature that has never taken any risks, then I have news for you too. It is not too late! There is still time to try something new in your life. And if you don't think you have a big enough well of courage to draw from then borrow some from a trusted loved one.
If your brother, sister, cousin, neighbor, or classmate can try something new, then so can you. You can do this.
Just think, trying something new keeps you young, healthy, fresh, and energized. Have you ever watched little kids play? They just go and go and go! You never see them slow down because they are having fun! You too can tap into that bottomless well of energy through a playful attitude of having fun and trying different things.
Finally, trying new things will make you look brave. We all like to look and feel brave, right? That braveness will make you a natural leader! And one successful thing, and even sometimes a not--so--successful thing done out of bravery and leadership can lead to an amazing journey of success that you couldn't even have dreamed of before! People observing your adventurous side will think that you are really lucky, and guess what? So will you... "Who would have thought... " -you'll say to yourself chuckling.
Now teens and even tweens, go learn, lead, and lay the way to a better world for all of us. Don't be afraid to try new things for they can lead you to extraordinary things. And once again, my young brave ones who are not afraid to try new things, thanks for all that you do, and all that you will do.
