True Power Is Knowledge Applied! kids and teens
Here are a few of great questions that I would like you to think
about: Why is it that most of us claim we know what to do, but then
don't do it? Is failing to apply knowledge just human nature? Is
indifference and laziness the new norm?
As a teacher I often see my students not applying their knowledge. I am surrounded by pupils and sometimes even my colleagues telling me that they know what to do, but then don't do it... Sadly, I am not innocent either, sometimes one of those slackers is me.

The problem of not applying knowledge is a very real
one. It's so real that a couple of Stanford University professors even
wrote a book on this phenomenon called The Knowing-Doing Gap. This
problem goes way beyond students and school teachers. Businesses
actually spend $60 billion annually to train its people, yet most still
act like they don't know what to do. If asked about their lack of
action, they will say that they know what to do; after all, they have
been trained. Sadly though, most of these trained people just won't
implement what they are taught...
But... What if... Imagine if... We all decided to collectively apply our knowledge! Imagine how much more powerful we'd be! Imagine how much more we would accomplish if we just applied our knowledge! If we were more accomplished and successful we'd be happier, right? And if we were happier, wouldn't our world be a better place to live in?
Now teens and even tweens, go learn, lead, and lay the way to better world for all of us. Remember, just knowing is not enough. If you're going to be happy and successful, and make this world a better place to live in, then you're going to have to apply your knowledge and close that knowing-doing gap. And finally, once again, thanks in advance for all that you do, and all that you will do...
