You Are Perfect When Seen - Through the Father's Eyes

Have you ever thought how life is like the seasons in our lives? Summer is usually hot and humid with storms that can arise out of nowhere. You may be enjoying a picnic with your family or a ballgame with friends when out of nowhere a bad storm causes havoc all around you so you run for shelter. Then again maybe it is winter and you are enjoying an outdoor football game with your team ahead when all of a sudden it starts to sleet and within minutes the wind is blowing hard and you have a major snowstorm. They end up canceling the game so you try to drive home, but the streets are covered with ice and snow while the drivers ahead of you forget how to drive... well, that another story!

Our lives are a lot like that. Things can be going just great when out of nowhere a tragedy will happen or any type of heartache will tear at your heart. Where do you hide then? Where is the shelter you can run to so you feel safe and secure?

God is the answer. He is the only one who can help you face the tragedies of this world. He is like our 24/7 God. No matter where you are or what time it is, he is ready to give you the strength you need to persevere through the hardest of times.

The below poem is call, "Through the Father's Eyes." It is a reminder that no matter what you are going through now or in the future, God will be there with you. He may not remove the heartache, but he will give you the strength to get through it. As hard as it is, God knows what the future hold and sometimes it takes a storm in life to get us to where we need to be to survive.

Always remember that Jesus loves you and that this is not our final destination. It is only the door we must go through to get to eternal life in heaven. Walk in faith and hold on to Jesus. He will never leave you.

Through the Father's Eyes

When funds are low and bills are high...

When you lose your job and don't know why...

When heartache knocks upon your door...

When you fear what tomorrow has in store...

When illness drops you to the ground...

When sleep is a word that can't be found...

When all life's trials make you want to cry...

It's time you see life through the Father's eyes!

Trials are blessings turned inside out.

They cleanse the soul as you're tossed about.

God uses them to make you strong

And when you believe he walks along.

He'll lead you through the darkest night

And when it's time he'll make thing right.

God knows the future and you know the past.

When things go wrong, they will not last.

Through ups and downs he'll lead the way

And when you need him he will say -

"My precious child, I died for you.

I feel the pain you're going through.

I never left you. I'm still here.

Give me your pain and every tear.

Though now it's hard to understand,

One day you'll see what I have planned.

I love you, child. Hold on to me.

Your reward waits for you in eternity."
